Jan and I never really expected to take a cruise. But the opportunity presented itself and we had always wanted to see some of Alaska.
This picture was taken in front of the Mendenhall Glacier. This day was the only one we had to use rain gear, the rest of the time we were getting a tan. The one theme you will see over and over is the vastness. Even living in Colorado we were amazed. Timberline seems to start at about 3000 ft and all of the peaks were snowcapped.
The Site
